Sightseeing

Looking for a fix of culture but not a clue where to start? We sorted through the city's historic sites and have chosen the three very best New York attractions to help you prioritize your sightseeing in NYC

Empire State Building

More than any other building in the world, the Empire State Building embodies the ambition of humans to build towers that reach for the skies. The skyscraper is probably New York's best known building and definitely a must-see during your visit.

Price: $32-52

Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France on America’s 100th birthday. A universal symbol of freedom, the copper-plated sentinel stands 305 feet tall from the bottom of her base to the tip of her torch. Reservations are required for a tour of the statue’s interior and to ascend its iconic, seven-pointed crown.

Remember: Be sure to book in advance if you want to see the view from Lady Liberty’s Crown

Price: $18 (+3 for Crown views)

Macy's

For my fellow shop-a-holic’s, you can’t come to NYC and not visit Macy’s; it is the world’s biggest store after all! You won’t find pricey designer labels here, though mid-priced fashion lines for all ages are its bread and butter, along with all the big beauty names.

Remember: As a foreign visitor, you can get a 10% discount pass to use throughout the store, just take your passport to the information desk upon arrival.
